A Sky Galley above the Tentpole of the Sky.
Sky Galleys are lighter-than-air, flying-craft used as supply ships for villages in the mountainous regions of Dinotopia, hence a lack of serviceable trails. The balloon is shaped like that of a blimp (or Zeppelin), and filled with helium. Slung below the balloon is a boat-like basket with a bow like that of a Skybax's head and neck. Maximum headway was six knots (7 mph or 11 km/h), produced by two rotating propellers; they are pedal powered. The Tentpole of the Sky is supplied regularly by the Sky Galleys.
