Plot[]
Dinotopia (miniseries)[]
Romana is a Skybax cadet, alongside David Scott. When David is struggling to keep up with the training, Romana helps him, training out of hours to ensure he has a chance to graduate.[1]
When the Skybax saddles are handed out, Oonu decides to give her her father's saddle. It is a gift she accepts without hiding her pride. Oonu tells her of Will, "He would have been very proud," implying that Will is no longer with us at the time of the story.[1]
Romana joins Oonu's squadron, helping evacuate the villages and towns near the Rainy Basin.[3]
Dinotopia (TV series)[]
Handful of Dust[]
Romana tries to talk David Scott into not worrying about Marion Seville and Karl, during their investigation of the killed Stegosaurus mother, as the region is covered in many trees, making it difficult for the Skybax to land on. She brings new recruits (Marcus, Patrick and Portia) for David to do an inspection of, starting with an eye test. Ramona grows suspicious of Portia after she fakes an allergy in order to not be the first and be able to memorize the order of the letters while the other recruits go through the test. Later Ramona alerts David that Portia cheated on the eye test.[2]
Trivia[]
- It's not confirmed whether or not Sylvia Romano is her mother, but given her relationship with Will Denison in the books, it's highly possible.
