Giorgio Romano runs a hatchery with his wife, Maria Romano. He is the father of Sylvia Romano.[1]

Biography[]
Dinotopia: A Land Apart from Time[]
On 2 November 1862, Giorgio and Maria welcomed the recent dolphinbacks, Arthur and Will Denison to their hatchery. Giorgio sat beside their bedside for much of the eighteen hours the Denisons slept. The Romanos served the Denisons with a breakfast consisting of juice, tea, soup, bread and nuts.[2] Over the days the Denisons spent at the hatchery, Giorgio and fellow hatchery worker Alec Orchardwine peppered Arthur with questions on the outside world and in return answered questions about Dinotopia.[3]

In 1878, a storm damaged the hatchery's windmill. Giorgio, Alec, and the newly arrived dolphinback, Nathan Drake helped repair the windmill.[4]
