Dolphin Bay is a bay in southwestern Dinotopia, located by the mouth of the Polongo River.[1] Dolphin Bay is known for its particularly deadly currents, which have resulted in a high concentration of shipwrecks there.[2] Many of the shipwrecks in the bay are Spanish galleons that sank there in 1572 while searching for El Dorado.[3] Dolphin Bay is frequented by treasure hunters operating out of submersibles, though the best treasure are said to be guarded by Dunkleosteuses.[2]
