The Battle of the Backbone Mountains is a battle fought during the Age of Heroes. It is part of the Empire of Poseidos' assault on the Rainy Basin. The battle sees Poseidos successfully overcome the scattered groups of rebels guarding the basin, who fight alongside the Carnosaurs. The Poseidian defense chief Spade Sorgoff takes part in the battle, operating an armada-class strutter.
