Baryonyx is a species of spinosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in England. It has a long crocodile like snout which has been compared to the modern day gharial. Some specimens could grow up to 7.5 and 10 meters (25 and 33 feet) and weighed up to 1.2 and 1.7 tones ( 1.3 and 1.9 short tones) it's name meant "heavy claw" because of the animals large claw on the first finger. The first specimen was found in 1983 30 miles south from London england with 70% of the skeleton in tact.
